Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PoolPilot (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by ALSTIG INC.
The Service
PoolPilot is a tool for solo and small-team pool service operators to manage customers, log visits, and bill for work. It is available as a web app at poolguypilot.com and as a native iPhone app.
Your account
You must be 18 or older and operate a pool service business (or intend to). You are responsible for keeping your password secure, for all activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Your data and your customers
You retain ownership of the customer data, visit logs, photos, and notes you put into PoolPilot. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store that information about your customers and for complying with applicable privacy law in your jurisdiction. PoolPilot acts as a processor of that data on your behalf.
AI features
PoolPilot uses AI to extract chemistry readings from photos, structure your notes, draft invoices and briefs, and power the assistant. AI output is a suggestion only. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated chemistry reading, message, and invoice line before relying on it, sending it to a customer, or taking action on it.
Payments
PoolPilot integrates with Stripe Connect so that you can accept payments from your customers directly into your own bank account. ALSTIG INC is not a party to those payments and does not hold your customers’ funds. Stripe’s terms apply to the payment processing.
Subscription and pricing
PoolPilot is offered on a paid subscription basis. The current price and billing cadence are shown at sign-up and in your account settings. We will give at least 30 days’ written notice before any price change applies to your subscription. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period.
Acceptable use
Do not use PoolPilot to harass customers, send spam, scrape data, attempt to break or probe the security of the Service, or violate applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the iPhone app or by emailing support. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the data-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy applies.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ALSTIG INC’s total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. ALSTIG INC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI output, chemistry readings, or routing information.
iOS app — Apple terms
If you obtained the iPhone app from the Apple App Store: Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your installation and use of the app alongside these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
